Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much does it cost to wrap a food truck or trailer?
Most food trucks and concession trailers in Central Ohio land between $2,500–$5,500+ depending on overall size, coverage (full vs. 3/4 vs. partial), number of doors/windows, and how complex the design is. Very large trucks, gooseneck trailers, or units with multiple hatches can price higher. See our Vehicle Wrap Pricing Guide for ranges.
2. What do you need from me to quote it fast?
Send us: (1) year/make/model or trailer size, (2) front + both sides + rear photos, (3) a photo of the serving/menu side, (4) your logo (vector if you have it), and (5) target date or event. You can text photos to (614) 508-0815.
3. Can you wrap around serving windows, vents, hoods, and rivets?
Yes — that’s normal for food trucks. We design around serving windows, concession doors, roof vents, and rear access hatches. Riveted trailers take more prep and we’ll spec materials and lamination to contour properly.
4. How long does install take?
A typical truck is 1–2 days in-shop once artwork is approved and printed. Very large trailers, multi-panel graphics, or installs that require extra surface prep can add time. We’ll tell you up front.
5. Can you design the wrap, or do I need to bring artwork?
We do both. Most local operators have a logo but don’t have a truck layout. We can design the full wrap and build you a layout that includes your menu zone, hours, social icons, and QR code. If you already have print-ready art (Adobe Illustrator / PDF / hi-res PSD) we can print and install.
6. I change my menu seasonally — can that be part of the wrap?
Yes. We can leave a menu window or flat panel spot for magnet boards, changeable menus, or reprintable decals. That way you don’t have to rewrap the entire truck for a price change.
7. What materials do you use?
We use premium, cast wrap films from 3M, Avery Dennison, and ORAFOL, with matched over-laminate. These are designed for vehicles — not wall vinyl. They flex, conform, and remove cleanly when it’s time to rebrand.
8. Will the wrap damage my paint?
No. A correctly installed wrap on sound OEM paint is paint-safe and can actually help shield your truck from UV and light road wear. If your truck has failing paint/rust, tell us so we can advise you.
9. Can you match the tow vehicle or support vehicle?
Yes — we can wrap the truck + trailer as a matched set. This is a great option for operators who park on streets or do a lot of festivals and want a full brand look.
10. Do you do on-site installs?
For food trucks, we prefer in-shop installs so we can control temp (70–75°F), lighting, and cleanliness. On-site can sometimes be done for large mobile kitchens if you have a clean, heated indoor space — ask us.
11. How long will the wrap last?
Food trucks in Ohio that are stored outside typically see 3–5+ years depending on color, sun exposure, wash routine, and whether you park under trees. Darker colors and high-heat areas can age faster.
12. Do you handle DOT, licensing, or health-department decals?
Yes. If your city/county requires certain numbers or service info, we can either integrate it into the design or make it a removable decal so you can swap it later.
13. Can you add sponsors or festival branding?
Absolutely. We can produce add-on sponsor panels so you can peel/replace based on the event. Good option if you do county fairs or chamber events.
14. Do I need to prep the truck before I drop it off?
Please wash it well — no wax — and remove grease from service areas. Remove magnets and decals you don’t want to keep. If you can’t, we can do prep at the shop.
15. What if my truck is not perfectly straight / older / used?
That’s normal. Lots of food trucks are built on used step vans or converted trailers. We’ll take photos, note any low spots, and wrap to the true surface.
16. Do you design QR codes, social icons, and menus?
Yes — we can generate or drop in QR codes to your online ordering page, Instagram, or DoorDash listing. We can also style your Facebook/IG/TikTok/Maps icons to match.
17. Can you print reflective or spot-gloss accents?
For trucks that work nights or events, we can add reflective accents or high-wear areas. Tell us early so we spec the right film.
18. What if I only want a partial wrap?
Totally fine. A partial wrap with a strong background color, big logo, and menu zone can still look like a full custom truck — but saves material and install time.
19. Do you work with new builds / new trailer deliveries?
Yes — if you’re getting a brand-new unit from a builder, we can coordinate so the wrap happens close to delivery and you launch on-brand from day one.
20. Do you service outside Columbus?
Yes — we typically serve a 100-mile radius including Delaware, Westerville, Lewis Center, Dublin, Grove City, Newark, Springfield, Lancaster, and rural/seasonal trucks.
